Through an assertive attitude towards their content and their sound; the five-man rock band have dug their boots deep into the muddy ends of the UK’s alt-rock scene. The result being a sublime yet chaotic fusion of instrumentation and lyricism, expressing existing societal issues.

‘My Mercedes’ conveys a dialogue between two friends- one in an abusive relationship, the other reaching out in a desperate attempt to help her friend break away from the toxicity.
Colossal riffs, heavy blows of percussion and gritty vocals; each member’s exceeding efforts are felt rather than heard in this record. Vocalist and songwriter Jack Golightly explained the background of this meaningful record, stating; ”At the time, my mum was a single mother travelling the world with my brother and working three jobs. Along the road she ended up in an oppressive relationship prior to meeting my dad. It was my mum’s friend that gave her the nickname “Mercedes”, because she found elegance and strength in the way she carried herself through life. Whenever she writes to my mum she always starts with, Dear my Mercedes. So I opened the song like a letter, and finished the rest in a night. This pandemic has ramped up the tension in people's lives to breaking point. Domestic abuse figures skyrocketed…This is close to home and something that I wanted to discuss, because no one should have to live with abuse and should always have support to find strength and speak out.”
Being as equally heartfelt as it is anarchically energetic, the release will be followed by a collection of live shows set to occur across the UK in the coming months; in which attendees can expect a live performance further exploiting matters of importance to both band members and society as a whole in an amusingly unorthodox fashion.
